About This Branch
Kiddies Aqua Moreleta Park is the head office and flagship branch of Africa's largest swim school, founded in 1993 by Lizette and Arrie Botha. Their roots trace back to a previous 17-year ownership of Aqua Kid Swim School in Nelspruit and Lizette's role as Head Coach at Ryk Neethling's swim school in Pretoria. Alongside Jean Fouace from Switzerland — globally recognised as the pioneer of the Self-Rescue Water Safety Method for Babies since 1967 — Lizette co-founded Amphibies Babies Africa. With a network spanning 16 branches across South Africa and Namibia, the academy proudly serves over 10,000 swimmers every month.

Meet Lizette Botha
Lizette Botha co-founded Kiddies Aqua in 1993. She holds a degree in Human Movement Science from the University of Pretoria and pursued advanced Baby Floating training with Les Bébés Amphibies in Switzerland. Since beginning her career in 1989 she has taught water safety to over 13,000 infants and swimming to 24,500 children and adults. Lizette serves as Board Member and Project Manager for the African Children Aquatic Foundation and as Project Manager for the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation — including personally instructing Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, the twins of Princess Charlene. Acclaimed as South Africa's foremost Baby Floating Specialist, she has appeared on Carte Blanche, SuperSport, Kwêla, Top Billing, and Pasella. Both her daughters represented South Africa in National Junior Squads and received US swim scholarships. Her eldest daughter Mikal is a qualified Baby Floating Instructor.

Self-Rescue Baby Floating
Ages 6–24 months. Teaches babies to float face-up and self-rescue from the very first lesson.
Learn-to-Swim
Ages 2–12 years. From swim readiness through to all four basic strokes — purposeful and progressive.
Stroke Correction
Any age. Refine technique for competitive or recreational swimmers.
Adult Swimming
18+ years. Learn to swim or improve your style in a focused, supportive environment.
Special Needs — KA-CARE
Any age. Specialist one-on-one instruction tailored to children with special needs.
Water Aerobics
Any age. Low-impact water fitness — effective for all fitness levels.
